Dan Penn released a few tracks in the 60s this one under the pseudonym Danny Lee. Love this, a popular sound on the Northern Soul Scene around 2010 (or at least that's when I first heard it).

Classic 70s pop. I heard a snippet of "Bye Bye Baby" the other day, so that - combined with seeing the post - prompted me to have a little look at the BCRs history. I hadn't realised they had a one-off hit three years before Roller-mania began - 1971's "Keep on Dancing". Kind of bittersweet looking back at how massive they were, and how little time it took for them to vanish into obscurity.2

Hated them back in the 70s but can sort of appreciate bubblegum pop now.
