The last thing I'm expecting is 0-0

    So it will be 0-0.

1-2 loss I think, similar to Wrexham they will go ahead, I think we will get one back and then concede in the last 10

This 'free hit' people keep on about, are you supposed to try and hit it or is a wild swing and miss acceptable?

Say a super attacking formation that gets over run and we los 0-6 but at least we gave it a go eh?

People used to feel this way about ‘Bazball’. Sometimes you need to play with context in mind and be aware of the situation.

Cautiously confident for tomorrow. If we play like last week then I think we will win.

Was going for a straight forward 1-0 win and a no-show from Birmingham, but Oxford's win has changed everything. 1-4 defeat.

The Zulus have nothing to play for and have lost their last two.
There is probably more chance of us winning this than the next two games, fingers crossed.

With Oxford winning at Preston this really is a must win game.

    Hope you're recovering well @ForeverAddickted

1-0 win. Second half winner from Dykes.

Apart from a chance to get to the playoffs…

Surely Doc instead of Berry? 1-1
Ignore it. FA is just being deliberately provocative. It is how all these internet influencers work. Write or say something manifestly absurd to provoke lots of rebuttals.

Or it may be that he has not entirely cleared the anaesthetics from his brain.  Berry, indeed!  Ha!

Well FA you are not the Messiah - you're a very naught boy!
  • Dreading another awful performance. Goals will continue to be a problem.

Need to start winning our home games. It's as simple as that.
  • My take would be...

Leave everything out on the pitch today, very best team, get something from the game.

Key men / injury doubts rested, not even travelling, for Boro on Weds night.

Best team, key men fresh, etc vs Oxford.

Getting something from today's game is so important - much more than just the 3 points - it gives us more options for how we handle the week ahead - we cannot afford to lose that game at Oxford.

On thing more certain than the result today is the ticket sales. £30 for this game was always dubious and rate of sales would seem to confirm it's way over a justifiable price. Plenty seats all round.

The default 'get the the best seats for me' option is Block A Curbs stand, and would usually be a quarter, to a third, full from the front by now, but only part of the front row has sold as of now.

Yep, a win here, loss at Boro and draw at Oxford feels like what we need as a minimum return from next 3 games.

Oxford’s back-to-back not ideal with playing us to come next week. We need a win today, pile the pressure back on them West Brom and Leicester. We can do this 2-1 (do not care who scores nor how)

  • Looks winnable and loseable this one. Not to mention drawable but probably not abandonable or postponeable.

Side note, I think Dykes will be bang up for this. Strikes me as that sort of person who will want stick it to Davies and celebrate in his face or something!

Birmingham have some good players but are not the most physical team. I think we will try and bully them and it will probably work

Hope we don’t do it but I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Leaburn and Dykes up top together to make the most of their weakness. I’d rather we start Kelman and Dykes, with Leaburn and TC to impact from the bench

They aren’t big (Klarer aside) but they are physical and nasty, they commit a lot of niggly little fouls on defenders to break up play/make them hobble

Valley Grove exit closed after the game, presumably because they're holding the Brum fans back in Valley Grove, like they did to the Chelsea fans after the FA Cup game

Welcome back FA, hope the operation went smoothly.

    Think we'll line up:
    ..................Kaminski
    ...........Ramsay Jones Bell
Clarke Carey Coady Docherty (C) Chambers
    ...............Dykes TC

Expect Brum to have a lot of the ball. Look for us to press and hit them on the counter. Their CBs are good in the air so we'll need TC to get the ball down and run at them. I'd take a draw, I still think they're a decent side that lines up well against us. And they've spent loads of money.
    Kaminski injured
