Oh bugger, that's not good.1

Just seen the 'assist' on the EFL highlights program. 'Assist' doesn't do it justice. Kanu absolutely rampages through the opposition midfield who are trying their upmost to stop him. Strength, power, determination on display capped off with a great pass.fenaddick said:Kanu gets an assist for Walsall’s opener
If he can do that regularly he'll be a good asset.11 -
Asiimwe an unused sub for Wimbledon in their 1-0 win over Northampton. Terry Taylor started for the away team and was subbed in the 86th minute3

First stat update in a while. The clean sheets are likely inaccurate as I have to count them by hand, the stats websites are way off

Fevrier has already scored as many goals as Tanto did for us despite not being a striker and he gives us a way of playing a different shape. Him coming on against West Brom allowed us to change things up enough to get the equaliser and for the very brief part of the game where we looked ok against Portsmouth it was when we had him on and that was where he got his goal. He's not a complete genius or anything but being able to give teams a totally different set of problems to deal with is something that was worked for us since he's come in. Tanto would be 6th choice striker for us if he'd stayed and he's currently got 0 contributions of any description for Stockport down in L1 since his move.Jones also made a very pointed comment in one of his interviews last week about how Tanto and Apter didn't want to stay and help us achieve safety as much as they wanted to play games and the reality is if you've got players around who don't have the right attitude when you need the whole team to pull together then you're better off clearing them out for the the rest of the season and reviewing when they're back. Though looking at Tanto getting dropped by Stockport and Apter getting hooked at half time with his team 2-0 down only to come back with a 3-2 win after the player who replaced him changed the game they're not exactly making the most of their time are they?11 -
Whoops sorry , the 8 key on my laptop is a bit temperamental at the moment, and flaked out at an inopportune time .gringo said:

Fevrier was also useful at Leicester when we changed shape to deal with their threat out wide to see out the winGarrymanilow said:wmcf123 said:

I don’t think he’s good enough for the championship and we won’t see him next season, but he’s been more useful than Olaofe probably would have been since January7 -

Tommy Reid not in the squad for Farnborough tonight, they have signed a new loan keeper so maybe Reid is back. Bower started and they won 1-0. Kanu and Mitchell also both started with the latter keeping a clean sheet. Enslin started and was key in the equaliser for Dorking's 1-1 draw

Enslin controls a high ball brilliantly in midfield, before turning and shooting from range. Phillips spills the effort into the path of the skipper, who finishes with confidence.

Kai's trademark ball control & accurate crosses at their best tonight . A credit to our Academy & well liked at DW.fenaddick said:Tommy Reid not in the squad for Farnborough tonight, they have signed a new loan keeper so maybe Reid is back. Of course, The Snake was always going to score , celebrating as though it was at Wembley.
But a great game to watch , end to end stuff & a point apiece was probably a fair result especially as Chelmsford had scored 12 goals in their last 2 matches.
DW still top but the gap closing a little....Ebbsfleet the visitors on Saturday .2 -
Another defeat for Kanu's Walsall tonight. He played the whole game. It's all gone horribly wrong there, with Walsall now in midtable.0

His goals have dried up since they lost some players in Jan too sadly0 -
Haven't they changed how they're playing him also?Athletico Charlton said:killerandflash said:Another defeat for Kanu's Walsall tonight. He played the whole game. It's all gone horribly wrong there, with Walsall now in midtable.

It's not just the goals scored that have dried up for Walsall. They've kept just two clean sheets in their last 16 matches during which time they've conceded 30 goals.0
-
I’m not too worried by the goals drying up. It’s good for him to experience a team struggling while he’s a key part of it, not a fringe player like he was here. It also sounds like he’s still performing quite well within a poor system. It’s good for his development3

Just realised Kanu’s deal expires next summer wonder whether this loan was to put him in the shop window0

Wimbledon beat Blackpool 4-1. Asiimwe played the full 90 and seems to have done well. Karoy came on after 60 mins but apart from popping up all over the pitch didn't have much of an impact from the looks of it3

Walsall manager sacked0
-
Mbick out for the season done his ACL, MCL and PCL but apparently ligaments aren’t completely torn so may be able to get away without surgery3
-
Well, it’s horrible news but seems like it could’ve been worse, so have to try and be positive. Let’s hope the conservative approach heals it properly and he’s ready for pre season. Would love him to be part of our squad next year.1
-
Around 10 weeks in a brace according to Colchester, basically rules out a loan next year you’d think as he won’t be match fit for the start of the season0
-
I think we were always planning to keep him in the squad next season. Would be surprised if we rejected Brighton’s 5M offer with the intention of loaning him out again for another seasonfenaddick said:Around 10 weeks in a brace according to Colchester, basically rules out a loan next year you’d think as he won’t be match fit for the start of the season1 -
Of course but that wouldn't stop other teams sniffing about and if a top end L1 team offered to loan him I think we'd have considered itCrispywood said:

Does make me wonder what will happen with DK in the summer , maybe a league 1 loan? Walsall's usual second half of the season collapse has maybe stopped him scoring as many as maybe expected at Christmas but I could see a League 1 loan coming in. Think he'll get preseason for NJ to assess things though.0

Wimbledon maybe?0
