Sky give Kipre man of the match for Ipswich, a minute later he gives away a penalty

I can see Millwall getting 2nd spot at this rate......although I can't see us getting much tomorrow night.

    Can they really get promoted....😥

I thought the game had finished 2-3.

    Lucky lucky millwall

Crazy how it swings around so quickly.  Pompey flying after beating us and Millwall in successive games, now winless in 4, losing 3 of them.  Lots of pressure on WBA and Oxford now.  Oxford play Blackburn.  Oxford win and Blackburn right back in it.

Just can’t see us catching Boro to be honest. They had their little blip and are coming back in to peak form just at the right time.

We’ll probably finish third and then it’s the lottery of the play offs.

I’d say the likely scenario is we’ll be playing each other again next season. But you never know. You have to be in them to win them. It’s two flips of a coin. 🤞

This is a point i mentioned yesterday. I want to think we're relatively safe but we're quite capable (as is any other team down there) of suddenly going 4-5 games without a win and then we're back in trouble again. Things can change so quickly.

Leicester winning wasn't ideal but i can live with that as i've always felt they have enough to get out of it and their run in isn't bad. West Brom have a tough run of games in the next few weeks, and after tonight Blackburn play 6 top half teams in their last 9 games including facing all of the top 3.

If i was Blackburn or West Brom i'd be quite worried about Oxford. They play Blackburn (tonight), us and Sheff Weds all at home, and also play Watford at home who couldn't even win at Sheff Weds last night.

Yeah seems impossible. 1 point behind and you still have to play them.

To be fair, maths isn’t any Millwall fans strength.

I would rather Hollywood win the Champions League than Millwall get promoted to the Prem!
Yeah I couldn’t really care less who wins the playoffs, as long as it isn’t Millwall!

I think it is important to remember that for by winning on Saturday, the pressure is a bit off tonight and if we lose, then we have lost away to the team in 2nd who just put 4 past QPR at a canter. It isn't the end of the world.

Am definitely hoping for a draw in the Oxford v Blackburn game tonight.

All week I have been wanting a draw but I am now finding myself caught between wanting as many teams below us as possible or 2 teams as far away from us as possible who will join Wednesday. Like others have said, I’m just not so sure Oxford are that team. It probably is Blackburn out of the two who will struggle.

I hate Wrexham more than I do Millwall.  I'm banking on Millwall finishing 3rd and then if Wrexham do finish 6th (though I'm thinking now that maybe reserved for Southampton) Millwall can stuff them in the playoff semi and then loose to Ipswich at Wembley.

That would be heaven to me, all 3 of us in the champ next season..

But they have a game in hand. Win that, which they probably will, and it’ll be four points. Just can’t see them dropping many points between now and the end of the season the way they’re going.

Ipswich and Boro back to back for you is absolutely huge. Didn't realise you still had to play both of them.

You beat them and it's only one point. Boro will drop points in other games, it's the nature of the Championship, and they have to play Ipswich and Wrexham away!

Yes if we won both of those I’d say second is a real possibility. I think we’re more than capable of beating Ipswich, not boro though. You just never know with this league though, it’s mental. Would love you to get something there tonight. Even a draw would be good

Wont be the worst thing in the world to lose tonight we should have enough to be safe and Boro can make better use of the 3 points than us and keep the scum out of the automatics and delay their inevitable promotion , football is soooooo wank these days

Can't think of anything worse really, heaven would be both owners suddenly deciding it's not for them and taking up a nice quiet pastime instead and both clubs slide into oblivion.

I mean Wrexham , some Hollywood bods play thing in Wales as opposed to the utter filth pondlife down the road our only local rivals ... give your head a wobble and take a straight red as well for uttering such profanities

Beyond our game there are two fixtures involving those fighting the drop

    Oxford v Blackburn

    West Brom v Southampton

Hopefully the first one is a draw with a few sending offs for Oxford and the other is a nice Southampton win

Yes, we need Will Lankshear to be wound up by the team from Lancashire...

Only dropped points Saints have had in their last 6 matches was against us. Hopefully they can continue their run of wins, but something tells me WBA will turn the corner soon (like Leicester did last night).

It takes winning one game, at home, to a team who are woefully out of form - to have turned a corner?

Wish you were that positive about Charlton.
