So, if you've got side-by side TVs you could have the surreal experience of watching two Charlton teams live at the same time!

Think my partner would murder me if I attempted that!cafcfan said:

I think I know what’s going to happen here.0 -

No Lockwood. Not sure if she's injured but it's slightly incredible that our winter transfer business with the league title within our grasp was an attacker who doesn't start and what you'd have to say at this point is a 7th choice centre back. Never mind, hopefully it will turn out we didn't need anyone. 3 points tonight would be very welcome, especially given our usual problems with weaker teams1

Felt like a pretty obvious foul on Whitehouse there0
-
Looked like a foul on the keeper for me1

Jesus Christ. Between this and Jones picking a comedy backline for the men’s game I can’t decide where not to look1

Well I'm glad I decided to skip this and stay at home0

We've been awful so far tonight, haven't strung together more than 3 passes, everything massively overhit and players on their heels.
Never a yellow for Muya there0 -
Portsmouth are quite physical but not really beyond what the rules allow. We're just not coping with it and we're second to everything.0

Not watching but sounds like maybe we were a bit naive/overconfident0

Not sure we've been overconfident tonight, we had a goal given against us that most times would be a foul, then a strange goal where everyone missed a cross and it crept in at the front post, uncharacteristic for our usually brilliant keeper.fenaddick said:Not watching but sounds like maybe we were a bit naive/overconfident
As you can imagine from a team bottom of the table, we've basically had 80 mins of spoiling, time-wasting and low blocking from Pompey since2 -
Really disappointing to lose the unbeaten run to bottom of the league, although it’s a reminder that they are a Charlton team after all!0

WHAT THE FUDGE HAS HAPPENED HERE?0

Full time. Disappointing but all that matters is going up0

Hopefully an isolated bad day at the office0

Been overdue a loss and especially overdue being punished for how crap we are against poor teams. Add to that how brilliant Whitehouse has been the rest of the season and it was our time. All that matters is how we react now0

She said something to the referee. Got the yellow and continued the back chat. She could have a got a second yellow.sam3110 said:We've been awful so far tonight, haven't strung together more than 3 passes, everything massively overhit and players on their heels.

Think of it as this being the GW we are playing in the cup then it puts it into perpective.fenaddick said:Full time. Disappointing but all that matters is going up
Hopefully tonight is a hickup, and we get back to business on Sunday 🔴⚪️🗡0 -
That was awful. Worst I've seen us play for several years. Hopefully it gives us a wake-up and we can kick on, but we never looked like scoring and we need to win at least a couple of the 5 remaining games.0

Portsmouth did to us what we've done to so many teams this season: grab a goal or two and shut us down. It's worrying that we hardly ever looked like getting back into it, and had no clear ideas at all what to do with the ball when we had it at the back. Don't understand bringing on Thestrup rather than Bissell either.
One minor thing that has bugged me before but was very obvious tonight is how bad our throw-ins are. Either we throw it forward and lose out in the aerial duel because none of our attacking players have much of a physical presence, or we throw it back towards the centre-backs with a really awkward bounce, meaning they need another touch to get it under control and the opposition can close them down.
Sunday will be a real test of our mettle now.1
