The 2 main reasons for me is the pain it can be for away games and the fact the boy plays football Saturday mornings so either the Mrs takes him and I go Charlton or he misses a his game which I don't really like him doing. Either way he changes to Sunday next season so maybe I will stop moaning. Probably not though

Sky subscribes must like boring football matches, we do not play great football and Oxford just as bad.

Overall, I suspect these games are relatively cheap to make/produce content which will still attract enough viewers to get advertising revenues and add to the broadcasting of enough games for each club to encourage subscribers to sky sports (& therefore Sky) from every set of fans around the country wanting to watch their team’s occasional ‘15 minutes of fame’. If (too many going to away games and a smaller allocation for this one) I can get a ticket I will go to the game but if not I will settle for watching it on tv and help justify broadcasting it.

Chosen as well because we're close enough to eachother in the table that it might be a meaningful game in the relegation fight when it comes around in March

A few ifs but should us and Pompey both lose at the weekend and Stoke win then there's the likelihood that we'll play Pompey on the 14th Feb.... But will it still be on TV as selected?

I can't find an answer so anyone got a clue?
I very very much doubt it. Just because it was televised before doesn't mean that it will/should be televised when it is finally replayed.
It was televised before! Blimey, that must have been more boring than our actual matches. Did you get a view at least of the groundsman with his fork?

Our game against Watford is on the "real" Sky Sports channel but no changes to KO times over Easter

Sending Millwall to Middlesbrough for a 12.30 kick off is comical scheduling. "Football for the fans".

Whereas our game, which is between 2 local teams, stays at 3pm.

I thought both Easter games would be available on Sky Sports + as they are not on a Saturday. Or is one (Good Friday ?) being "displaced" from the regular Sat slot and therefore not being shown live ?

They should be on Sky Sports +, this list is just showing the main channel games.

Opening & closing weekend and Bank Holiday fixtures (which will include Easter) are all supposed to be available along with midweek matches.

The funny business comes around Christmas and New Year when fixtures get moved away from the traditional Saturday slot so that our poor lambs don't have to play on consecutive days or anything daft like that. That's where the "displaced" guff comes into play.

Most of those games stand out as crunch matches affecting promotion and relegation, but Coventry vs Wednesday is an odd choice. Unlikely to be very competitive.

Hoping for an absolute goal fest from Coventry?

I haven't done the maths but is there a chance Coventry clinch promotion/the title on that day? Sky will want that live

Very little chance with high tight it is 1st / 2nd / 3rd.  More likely every team is guaranteed a certain number of televised games + Sheff Wed do have a decent audience despite their woes.
