A game too much for us after a brutal week, so delighted with the draw which keeps Oxford 9 points behind us, a gap which they won't close. The weird thing is that I suspect NJ rested players on Wednesday to save them for today, but then we took the lead and winning against Boro then became the priority.

NJ probably could have used the bench earlier, as the midfield did run out of legs, Docherty having done amazing amounts of work in both away games. We looked really tired out there in the second half, but Fullah's cameo did give us a boost.

To show how good the last 4 days have been, Boro would have looked at 2 home games, Charlton followed by Bristol City, and expected 6 points. Instead they got 1.
I see Bristol City equalised in the 96th minute.  I couldn't help but to have a peek at the Borough fan site.

With ten minutes to go and Borough leading 1 0 one fan was keen for them to see it out ...

... turns out he was wrong  :|
Much bad Juju decisions going on in top vs bottom at WBA and Millwall. Need VAR rather than Wrexhamesque stage management and theatricals. Hughes off for Hull? Really?

And so we have it, the Blackburn equaliser.... so inevitable, so shallow, so fkd up football. Stage managed by cretins.

    Saw the match

    Very disappointing

    Brutal opinion

Leaburn has only scored 1 goal in the Championship  20 appearances 14 subs

Campell 3 goals in the Championship                        27 appearances 11 subs

We need more goals from the strikers

Sorry if  we need to progress playoffs or promotion.  We need better quality up front.

My honest opinion is Leaburn is League 1 level.

Looking at some of the results this afternoon that might have been a bigger point than many of us have given credit for.

Doesn't detract from the fact that it was very poor game of football & as I said on the match thread I hope once safety has been guaranteed (by Easter) then we might actually see some football being played.

Carey's delivery into the box was of the standard that Bree got absolute pelters for. Best dead ball delivery from the left today was by Chambers so not sure why Carey is first choice. Same reason he was taking all the long throws, even though Clarke has a much better technique, I presume !

Carey has been taking some good corners recently and today he took one good one and one crap one from the left side. I prefer Chambers taking them from the other side.
Carey was under Par today but why would you want Clarke to run over to the other side of the pitch to take a throw and leave the defence out of shape ?

It was only last Saturday we scored from a long throw from Carey that was headed on by Dykes and Charlie scored a cracker.

It was 8 days ago I shouldn't expect people to remember 🤷🏻‍♂️

Definitely Harry takes the throws on his right side.

I said Desmond 2.2 degree at Oxford but that was for educational reasons only.

I  still think we passed well 1st half until we got too the place that mattered in around the area.

Yeah, West Brom 3 Hull 0. Like that is really expected. Twisted contorted manipulation all in favour of the Circus. One Disney believe it.....

Thank the lord Leicester lost. Very strange and I’d say unexpected results today. This might not be quite as straightforward as we’d have all hoped.

Funny thing is, Leaburn is better with his feet than he is with his head. He'd be better off being 6ft rather than 6ft 6.

I get we got a point ya da ya da…

but id like us to have more ambition in the winnable games. Should have started with a more attacking lineup.

Hopefully we will be more attacking next season

I'm not expecting Clarke to take them from the left but until a couple of games ago, Carey was taking them from both sides. I would argue that Clarke throws are much more dangerous as he manages to keep a low trajectory & throw further.

Without watching the game back, your recollection differs from mine, so don't expect me to remember something from 8 days ago !

It would have been wrong if either side had won that but their penalty was as soft as it is possible to be. Ours was soft too but the shirt pull was clear. Stupid but clear! That game should have been nil nil. It was important we didn't lose it and I think it would have been a big blow to Oxford given some of the later results. 48 points may well be enough as it stands. Pompey have two games in hand but they have a brutal run in after their next two. I still think Leicester will get out of it but today's result forces you to question yourself.

It is looking to me like Oxford and surprisingly Pompey who will drop with Wednesday.

My main takeaway from the away end today is some of our fans are very weird about Tyreece Campbell

Expect at least 1 team, maybe even 2
.......to be relegated with more than 50 points

I think it will be under 50 points when you look at the run ins. But we are going to comfortably get over 50 anyway. One win or three draws.

Yes, a point, and the scum self-destructed after we gave them a free hit, but that made for grim reading on the match thread.

Couple of wins and we're safe to account for the shef Wednesday factor essentially gifting everyone 6 points

So much negative exaggeration in here among the fanatics. It was a decent performance. We bossed it and were comfortable mostly.
Enjoyed it almost as much as Middlesbrough as this was stress-free, and we (emphatically deservedly) did not lose.
even after the penalty, and 35 mins before we scored, strange comfortable.
    Comfortably numb!
  • Not a great game but another point towards safety. And Millwall losing at home to Blackburn shows you can’t take any result for granted in the Championship despite their fans thinking their team only had to turn up to win today. Maybe next time they won’t be so gobby !
