Would have gone Solly, but how can you have someone in our Hall of Fame who downed tools and refused to play for us, so I can't, so Young.

I have heard he will eventually tell his side of the story. Just waiting for the dust to settle I imagine.

Dust to settle? Lord, its been so long since he left there must be an inch high pile of dust piled up now!

Genuinely surprised at how few people are saying Luke Young. He was a regular feature in our Premiership days, consistently played well and became our record England international. Seemed like the easiest decision on the card to me.

The three new players elected into the Hall of Fame for 2026 are as follows:-
Pre-1955 Billy Kiernan- 54% of the vote. (Runner-up George Armitage for the second time).
1956-90 Bob Bolder- 64%. (Runner-up John Humphrey for the third time).
1991 to date Chris Solly- 52%  (Runner-up Luke Young).
The names of the winners will be added to the Honours Board in the Museum, while the three runners-up will go forward to next year's vote.

Personally, I find it amazing that the two best right backs of the last 40 years, have not made it in.

Can only think of recency bias for Solly over Young or our younger lot only having seen Solly
