I see he doesn't have the bottle to have a pop at her new partner.

Aren't we all going to end up in a coffin.  Eventually.
  • Hope he loses his job at Everton

Footballers never cease to amaze me.

Many are not that bright, Jeffers is not exactly a looker so what do they think will happen when the money and glamour all dries up! Divorce rates for ex-footballers are ridiculously high and it's often for this reason.
I have a lot of time for Harry Kane who married his childhood sweetheart.  She is not a trophy-bird and she loved him when he wasn't famous and I would like to think their marriage will stand the test of time.

Call me old fashioned but surely it isn't all about looks - otherwise this trend will just continue

Reading Duncan Ferguson's autobiography and he mentions about getting sent off for flattening ,Hermann Hreiðarsson seems like Francis Jeffers stirred it up.

Amazing you can have an anecdote about Ferguson elbowing Hreidarsson square in the face and somehow Francis Jeffers comes out of the story worst
Absolutely, i think we all knew that Ferguson was a thug but you don't expect to hear about one of your own players slagging off a teammate and taking pleasure out of it.

Many years ago, I remember asking Theo Foley about Francis Jeffers and why his career had taken a downturn. He said that the view of his friend Pat Rice at Arsenal was that Jeffer’s had been “spoiled” by the success and rewards which had come so early in his career. Some players can handle it, some can’t.

It's one side of the story though in fairness.

Quite cheap considering he is our record signing.

    I believe it!
I know for a fact he feigned injury in one match down the valley and he was in the Venue a few hours later, so in my eyes he's a prick.

I strangely have no recollection of Duncan Ferguson getting sent off at The Valley.

Remember Jeffers scoring twice against Villa on his home debut , think the rest of that game was spent booing Carlton Cole.

Yes I remember this. He had been left put by Curbs before hand and gone public about wanting to play. Scored twice and didnt paly much again after.
