Bollocks, if only I’d have known. I’m in the less lively sister city - Sumpeesnqayit.fenaddick said:Daniel Kanu's Sierra Leone are playing Azerbaijan at 4pm today if anyone finds themselves in Sumqayit and at a loose end2 -

Gone to penalties. Pity he couldn't take one. Currently 7-7 as I type.

who is the last Charlton player to score an international goal whilst being an Addick?
Didn't Reza
get one in the world cup against Argentina? was he still with us? 1 -
Joe Aribo scored against Brazil when he was still playing for us.
Edit - He'd just joined Rangers.0 -

In looking at Sierra Leone’s roster, I am surprised he hasn’t been picked for the national side more. They have players in the squad from the second and third division of American soccer and someone who plays for Bray Wanderers. I didnt realize how weak their roster isCallumcafc said:https://x.com/ahmedlashamel/status/2038681247480750202?s=46&t=ynww82GMl7VKBjthBflU0gGood finish, dodgy marking0 -

Should have never been going on loan to L2 in the first place way below his level2

While that is pretty clear now, I am not so sure it was at the beginning of the season. He struggled some in limited playing time in league one previously. There might have been some league one interest for a loan but they ultimately chose league two because he would be playing every week and not on the fringe of starting for a league one clubCrispywood said:Should have never been going on loan to L2 in the first place way below his level1 -
Riddled with injuries last year but previous season scored 6 in 1840 mins which is equivalent of 20 90min games where his role wasn’t even to score goals it was to make May’s job as easy as possible, we had a chance to give him to Wimbledon but we kept delaying the moveBostonaddick said:
