    Akpo has been a breath of fresh air.

    He has a delightful 'Sunday League' feel about him. I imagine the conversation went a bit like this a few weeks ago:

    Parkinson: We're a bit short up front, lads. Does anyone know anyone?

    Sam Sodje: Well, my brother plays up front. He's not bad.

    Parkinson: OK. It's worth a go.

    Sam Sodje: He doesn't finish work til 1pm. Put him on the bench.
