Forgo the half time choccy fingers.

Successful at away games ( well, mainly for 1 point) but useless at The Valley of late.

Sometimes you just have to make tough decisions.   :(
No way , I’d take the relegation rather than than forgo one of your choccy fingers inside me

I’m wearing my Stiff Little Fingers shirt. We’ve never lost in the roughly 20 games I’ve worn it at.

Of course, if we lose, I can never wear it at Charlton again.

I drove through Oxford on the way today having gone by Charlton Kings beforehand, this equals Charlton Kings before Oxford, it's a sign!!

I am giving the last game a miss watching my other team playing Essex at the Oval. That should help the Charlton team.
    Glad myself sacrifice worked.

I had a couple of good omens in the last few days, that I didn't want to mention in case I jinxed it. Coming back from a doctor's appointment the other day, I saw a robin hopping about in the car park of our block, and I've never seen one here before, then listening to the radio last night, and "Something Inside So Strong" by Labi Siffre came on just as I was about to go to bed.

Thanks to all who positively influenced the game today in some way, by staying away, wearing lucky pants, socks, shirt or roaring the team on.

It worked, we had a good performance  and two blinding goals left in us and Nathan, the team and all of us can have a good celebrate 🥳 before putting the pen in front of Jones, Ramsay, TC maybe Fevrier etc.

Assuming you found a turnstile not used for the last few home games - and working too!  :D

I'm sorry but I won't be repeating today's routine, despite the result.

I managed to be so engrossed with my phone I didn't get off my train at London Bridge, realising where I was as the doors just locked. Sadly I wasn't on a train going somewhere en route; I ended up in Swanley at midday.

I've been close to missing kick-off a couple of times this year but today I realised I had no chance and even laughed when I realised what I'd done.

Thanks to Uber I only missed the first ten minutes, most of which was taken up with the early injuries to a Hull player. Apparently the only thing of note I missed was Collins' booking.

Saw a single magpie walking through Greenwich Park on way to The Valley but in the end the sorrow must have been reserved for Newcastle.

The Wembley togs worked a treat!
  • I’ll being giving our players a tour of the goals on the pitch and letting them know it is legal to score more than one goal in them.
This must have worked a treat as that was the first time we’ve scored 2 or more at home since 18th October 2025.

And for the record, I ate my cheese on Saturday evening. Goat's cheese of all things. Utterly foul. But worth it.

I was playing cricket and able to watch on my phone, but refused to watch the second half until we took the lead (to be fair I was eating a rather scrumptious lunch at that time)

    I wore different trainers.
I switched to black instead of my usual red.
    You're all very welcome.
