I have two very good mates who sadly, both support our neighbours. In fairness they both attend every home match at the Toolbox and were there today. They weren't optimistic about their chances of automatic promotion but could console themselves with the prospect of departing tonight for a golfing break in Turkey, with friends and wives. I've just got a text showing their view as they walk towards the stairs to board the plane….

Having seen this I though it was my duty to share it with you all so that you can avoid flying anywhere with this outfit. Imagine unwittingly suffering a similar fate, it would be totally humiliating and I would be tempted to cancel my plans and leave the airport.

I thought you were posting a picture of a private jet they’d had done for the Conference league or something. Are you seriously saying that a company expects paying passengers to board that thing?

I wasn’t going to mention it because it’s something I’d rather forget but a young spectator at my son’s U15 match (in a random village in the French countryside) was wearing a Palarse shirt today. I asked him why, and where he’d got it, and he looked back at me in surprise answering ’je ne sais pas’ to both questions. Wtf.

Back to the plane: I’d board it and ask other passengers if they’d got a black pen and write f**k Palace as much as possible in the bloody thing. That plane is already criminal damage imo.

There's something particularly Palaceesque about partnering with an airline called Sun Express and having pictures of a plane decked out in your design sat on the tarmac in the pissing rain.
