Definitely not new but just watched the Sky/HBO “Chernobyl” drama series.

It’s been so on my ‘to watch’ list for a while and finally got round to it.

One of the best things I’ve watched in a long time. Compels you to continue watching it despite the trauma and tragedy of the whole thing.

    We've started watching ITVX's " The Devil's Hour", series 1.

Very different but defintely my kind of different !

    Anyone watched both series ?
Yes I watched this a few years ago. It was on Prime I think. I really enjoyed both series. Like you say it is very different. Might watch it again as the fog of time has kicked in as usual and I can't remember it that well.

Agreed they done a brilliant job with Chernobyl. Michael Socha, currently in The Cage with Sheridan Smith, played Mikhail in this

Completed Mr Inbetween this week. One of those you like more and more as it goes on. Gutted the writer / star decided to call it a day, think it had much more scope still. Will miss Gary!

I'm part way through season 2. It's a great concept with really good acting and the plot is excellent. Unfortunately, the dialogue is sometimes super cheesy and the music is absolutely awful. It's still well worth watching but it's a shame because with a bit more subtlety it could be great.

Thank you for saving me the time to write this. Everything written above was exactly how I felt. Virgin at last got Sky Atlantic so I could watch it. Brilliant TV.

Hopefully in time do Broadwalk Empire.

Watched both episodes of half man yesterday

The lad who plays young Ruben looks loads like a thickened up version of Jack Lowden

Mad seeing Jamie Bell, the dancing little kid as a grown arse and old looking man

Young Ruben is a very scary character.

I know what you mean. It has the same producers as ‘This is Us’ and that was the same, especially the music and dialogue.

I'm watching Mint. Not listening to it because the audio is absolutely appalling.

Same as mate. I was gutted it ended. Tried the film that started it off after and it wasn’t as good.

I’m loving it mate. Really great script acting and soundtrack.

Speaking of soundtracks the music in The Cage was amazing.

If you want something else Australian, should Ted From Accounts or Deadloch. Both are really good

Been watching one on Sky this week called The Play Offs and it's been an absolute pure comedy masterclass, especially last nights episode

    Just watched episode 3.
Best programme on TV if you’re not faint hearted. Gripping.

You mean Colin From Accounts? If so, then second this - it's an absolute gem

For light relief, wife and I have been watching Rooster....maybe HBO? Steve Carrell comedy drama...very easy to watch...disengage brain....some genuinely brilliant one liners...easy viewing and therefore recommended by me :-)
