Felt for the Hammers fans, they're going to be in big trouble I reckon on and off the field.
I gather Sullivan snuck out early when the fans started singing 'you sold your soul when you got this sh*thole'...
That about sums it up....
Shocking owners and we know what that's like having experienced a few before our current people.1 -
Blimey.
Sunday was horrible. I never want to go through that ever again.
By the sounds of the board statement yesterday, it sounds like they agree. There was almost an admission of guilt that decision beings made were not putting football success first and they want to fix it. Something we as supporters have been saying for the last 25-26 years under ENIC.
But actions speak louder than words. We've heard it all before.
The club needs a massive reset. It's now had the massive kick up the harris it has needed for the board to realise what is at stake.
Regarding celebrations at full time, I didn't see any celebrations. Just relief on faces. I can admit to not sleeping properly for the last few months. No matter how much I told people I didn't care, I was immune to it, I was numb to it, deep inside no matter how many times I told myself it's ridiculous to get so worked up, so annoyed, so upset, so anxious about it, it just made me feel worse.
At the final whistle, it felt like a heavy weight was lifted off my shoulders. I was exhausted. I still didn't sleep properly Sunday night, it hasn't sunk in. That was most likely down to the amount of Neck Oil consumed in the pre/post match sunshine.
I slept like a bloody log last night. Feel desperately sorry for all my West Ham mates. I messaged them all on the final whistle to apologise and they've all been gracious. I think they're in serious trouble now what with £300m debt and next to no cash flow according to Kieran Maguire.
Thank f*ck there's no football until August...

You may be a Spurs fan but I would have thought for a bloke that’s been posting on here for the past 20 years you would have recognised a Board statement that says don’t expect much to change anytime soon…..‘multiple transfer windows…’JohnBoyUK said:Blimey.

This will never happen at Spurs again. Yes, we finished 17th last year as well, but apart from that.4

To be fair to all Spurs fans and Johnboy all my West ham buds thought months ago that they're were going to be relegated anyway... It was the hope that killed them.. I agree though the Spurs board, a bit like our own, simply cannot afford not to spend.....
As for West Ham.... I sense they could do a Leicester.2 -

Not quite. But they ain’t good. They’ve been awful under De Zerbi too.killerandflash said:Gutted Spurs didn't go down, but that's not a bottom 3 squad. Tudor made them look much worse than they are.
Also have to agree with Golfie that Kinskys late save was superb.
No Kulusevki, our best player by a country mile, out for the entire season.
No Maddison barring last 3 games (playing around 30 mins in total!)
No Kudus since December.
Then Odobert, next in like to cover, does his ACL about 2 games after Kudus went out.
The board then inexplicably sold Johnson (without replacing him) 2-3 days before Kudus got injured.
Then lose Xavi Simons to an ACL just as he was getting used to PL football.
Our entire creative spark in the team had gone for the second part of the season.
Take 5 players out of the front line of any PL team and you would see them struggle. It is what is is.
Then you had key injuries to Udogie who seems injury prone, killing any natural width on the left.
Bentancur lost 3-4 months due to a torn hamstring.
The half decent results towards the end of the season coincided with the return of Udogie and Bentancur.
The only players coming out of this season with any credit are Kinsky, Danson, Gray and Tel.
Absolutely delighted for Kinsky. The character he has shown since that Atletico Madrid game which would have finished most players off for good has been immense under a huge amount of pressure. The sooner Vicario is back on a plane to Italy the better. I know who my current no.1 is.
If you didn't know, Gray won all 3 voted on player of the year awards. Supporters, Overseas Supporters and Juniors. I'd love to see him integrated into RDZs 4-2-3-1 next season.1 -
Archie Gray is quality. Thought he was very good for Leeds. Would love to see him in the England squad.0

Had Villa put out a full strength team against Spurs, think they would be down.3

Fulham play some decent football from what I've seen on MOTD this season.....and won goal of the season.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

Quite possibly the most boring side in that league. Have been for a long time. Just a bit of furniture you have in your house that you rarely use it's just there to fill up a corner.BigRedEvil said:Everton offer nothing to the Premier league do they?

Quite possibly. Didn't see us going there and winning.guinnessaddick said:Had Villa put out a full strength team against Spurs, think they would be down.
But I also didn't see Glasner letting the Palace players out on the piss after a European game 3 days before West Ham played them at home. Thankfully they didn't take advantage.0
