How do you complain to ITV about their football coverage?

Their website is beyond opaque.

I’m usually very much on board the “itv football coverage is shit” bus, but so far in this World Cup, although itv has not been great, bbc has been awful.

ITV’s coverage is definitely better, lack of UHD is pretty mad in 2026.

I saw a game the other day where the BBC pundits were pretending to look at the view....when everyone knows they are sat in Salford with a green screen.

    Ridiculous.

    ITV have much better pundits

I like pundits who give their honest view which may challenge and you may disagree with but far more interesting. The coverage from both seems fine to me. I'd like Brian Clough there but that isn't possible. Nathan Jones would probably positively add to it but Wales did not qualify.

Purely personally I dislike co-commentators and pundits.
I know I am probably in a minority.
Even the lovely Steve Brown on the Charlton TV irritates the hell out of me with his frequent old woman like moaning.
The thing is being able to follow the game on my own terms, not being obliged to see what those pundits/co-commentators see, and the way they often stack up clichés is a distraction.
If I could choose I would prefer the ambient sound during play.

I tried to make up a joke about opaque, but the punchline just wasn’t clear enough
I find it hard to see through most jokes posted on this forum.

I can’t imagine how bad something would have to be for me to feel compelled to spend any of the finite time I have on this earth complaining to a tv station.

ITV has a better lineup yes, but Ally McCoist called NL-Japan spectacularly badly. Man's finished

I asked the BBC if they could swap the team that does Trooping the Colour with their World Cup mob.
    No reply yet.

So very poor, biased and sensationalist and a waste of money with the 'pundits'.

Their studio is actually how you see it for this, there is no green screen involved so they will have been looking at it.

Think ITV have the better pundits currently regardless though.

As bad as ITV's coverage is I have never seen a worse pundit than Olivier Giroud yesterday. Man could barely complete a sentence and he had to be helped through his thoughts like a teacher coaxing some conversation out of a child during a show and tell. It was agony. Made Theo Walcott look like Winston Churchill

Emma Hayes utilising a chalk board for her hydration break analysis of Spain v Cape Verde was entertaining, innovative and must have blown most of the ITV WC punditry budget.

It felt like even the presenter was losing patience with Giroud.

I cant say I even bother with the pundits or presenters tbh. At half time I usually go for a wee or switch channels to see what else is on, esp if its ITV with all their ad breaks.

I might listen to Wrighty but most of the others wouldn't give the time of day too. I mean, why was Giroud on there yesterday.....France weren't playing !  I bet there aren't any other TV broadcasters having an English player summing up a game involving Ecuador & Saudi Arabia.

    Bloody exclusivity !!!.

I like the referee that ITV have. Seems that some people are arguing that ITV is good because the presenters are only 3000 miles away from the game rather than 6000 miles.

Mark Pougatch looks like he’s slept rough whenever he’s on. Get a haircut, lose the unkept beard and buy clothes that fit…….
