anyone remember this ? Johny Morris did the voices of the animals. Times where much less complicated in them days i guess, but as with Ivor the Engine another great voice.

Was this the programme with 'Hammy the Hamster' and a rat whose name I can't remember (RIckie?) and it was filmed in a sort of slow motion?0

Golden era - or is that just an age thing?
Add to those the likes of The Clangers, Willo-the-wisp, Captain Pugwash, Magic Roundabout and Bagpuss - all good clean fun with fantastic voice over artists. The late Oliver Postgate having the most mellifluous voice of them all.0 -
Loved tales of the riverbank. And Hammy and the others really did drive those cars and motor boats, yes they did. No, I don't care what you say I saw them drive them with my own eyes.
Oliver Postgate. Noggin the Nog was/is my favourite.0 -
The Clangers were great. Also loved Noggin the Nog and Captain Pugwash.0
