Hello all, i would just like to commend the channel five doods for doing the footy last night, i actually enjoyed both games, newcastle game was excellent, the other team alkmaar were great to watch too, and that oba marthins geezer looks a real handfull. Looks like the barcodes have turned it on justin time to play us! Also that spudz game was an entertaining one too, i think that berbatov geezer is the absolute nuts, what a signing that is for them! Anyway great gamne too, mad stadium aswell, i mean to have a cliff behind the each goal just beggers belief! Altoghether now 'Cliff, give us a song, cliff cliff give us a song'

anyone else watch this feast of football last night?

Ball through to Pringle for a goal in front of the covered end- can't remember who it was against was sheer class

The way we slowed down to accommodate him.

"Cameo" exactly. Except the match against West Ham(?) when he played the 90, Never ever seen a player look so knackered at the end!

Berby is getting better and better.
He struggled with the pace of the Premiership, especially away from home up until around Christmas but he's been outstanding ever since. £10.9m well spent so far. A very rare breed, a big target man with pace, comfortable with the ball on either foot and scores goals to boot. He's playing with a huge amount of confidence at the moment.

Thought Zokora, Tainio, Dawson and Keane were absolutely outstanding last night.

Just to think, thats 4 away victories in a row now and our European record reads played 7 won 7. Moving in the right direction.

Seemed to be a lot of unhappy spurs fans doing phone in's pre the Everton away win, lot's of 'Jol out' 'he's taken us as far as he can' sort of stuff. Very fickle you spud fans. Pleased for him that he has turned it round as he is the best Manager you guys have had in many a long year.

Berbatov is the nuts, and i like the way that zokora just gets the ball and just blasts forward in a proper frightening way.

I still dont like spurs that much, but an entertaining game never the less and i am pleased they won! (never thought i would say that!) The only 2 teams i dont want winning in europe now-a-days, is Chelscum and Palarse (not that these C**** would ever get into europe!! lol)

They are the most fickle by far though Dude. Booed off at home in their first couple of home games this season I believe. Can you imagine them if they had endured a season like ours? One of my mates a S/T holder over there & his main gripe is that they seem to be fantastic for 45 or 60 minutes, then are unrecognizable for the remainder of the game, frustrating for sure, but hardly worthy of calling for manager's head ?

Good effort by Channel 5. Shame they had to ruin it by bringing Glenn"I AM a positive person" Reoder into the studio....I went straight to sleep as soon as he opened his dreary gob!

John Barnes wound me up the way he kept saying how brilliant the ref was, but would then say apart from the penalty and the free kick and the handball and the etc etc...........................so in fact the ref has had a shit game.

john barnes obviously does his research before a game, and then when they go from the studio to the gantry with a question for barnes to ease the transition across. john barnes takes no notice of the question and goes on his own fact quoting mission. all through out the game the other bloke was saying about certain players and john barnes would quote another fact about someone completely different. it was comedy in the end.

agree re the ref. was it me, or were all of those braga players either called jorge, paolo?

was really confused at one point, i think one is called paolo jorge and another jorge paolo!

As I said yesterday I had a win double on the Barcodes and Spuds and with 15 mins to go I was counting the cash - so when Keane scored the winning goal I was in the process of dragging the tv across the room and was about to throw it through the window. However, all well that ends well ....................... :-)

I am actually meeting the Barnehurst posse in an hour or so as they are on the train to Charing X and then having a beer at each station on the way back down the Bexleyheath line. I am hoping to meet what is left of them after they have done the Watt Tyler in Kidbrooke. If I see any lifers I will drag them off the train for a beer............

"What pub for each station 1905 dood? "

Nearest one to each station. The only one we are a bit unsure about is Kidbroke - cos the Watt Tyler (if still open) is ultra dodge and 10 blokes walking in at 3 on a Friday afternoon might not be too welcome.
