I Would like to find out if it's possible to collect for the above cause on the last home game of the season, What does the forum think.Would any lifers give up some time to help raise additional funds, if this is an acceptable idea can the football club give clearence, thoughts welcome. Would it be something any lifers would be happy to help out with. I Would like to try and give it a go. Any Takers?

Don't think we're talking shillings KBslittlesis? Still i think if you could organise it and get some evidence Yard of ale detail & picture for the forum and so on you could be a star? That's the spirit.

Just a turn of phrase Badger ;-)

Not sure about last game of the season though.................although if it doesn't go according to plan a yard of ale may make it a tad more bearable!!!!!

    Henry,
This is what i had in mind if we could get enough people involved, A BUCKET COLLECTION IN AND AROUND THE GROUND last home game of the season. If possible, think it could raise a few quid.Just an idea mind? Back to you.

What I'm thinking of as a fundraiser for Valley Flags is getting a couple of the banners signed, one will go on Ebay, another for auctioning at the charity game and spliting it between Demelza and the flags.

    Any one object to that?

@Rothko: Do you mean the old banners that are up there now that get taken down? If so, I think at least some should be kept and re-used on occassion. ie Build up a collection that can be swapped around. But, selling one or two is a good idea and helps feed the kitty for new banners.

yeah, certainly going to change round a bit in the summer with a couple of new designs (cough cough) couple going into storage, couple being signed by the squad and auctioned off for funds.

It's a pretty unique thing to win, for example having the 'Many Miles' banner signed by the whole squad is going to be something very special
