Anyone know of any Yorkie puppys up for sale?

Mate at work wants one for his daughters birthday and he is coming up with blankls!

So I thought I would ask the people In The Know.

Cheers

Here you go Terry, you dont get much for you dough :)
I'm looking for a GSD and their about the same price, dont use the freeads please. Most of them are glorified puppy farms.

What's wrong with a stray from the RSPCA?

    Dog breed snobbery. Terrible.

Terry, sorry to say this mate but Yorkies are horrible poncey yappy little things...awful breed. If you want a small breed terrier then a Jack Russel beats them all ends up.

Go to another rescue centre then if you don't like the RSPCA. It's people buying animals as presents that causes over-crowding in rescue centres in the first place.

With respect Mr Ashtray, I think the link would give you a clue. The German Shepard Rescue, I have bought a GS puppy before and would do again. I think you have placed me into a catagory that buys a puppy because of maybe some image I wish to portray. I would not endorse buying a pup from someone advertising in a local rag/freepaper nor would I do so myself. I will buy a puppy from a kennel club registered breeder where the dogs are chipped and given a full medical check for such things as Hip displacia amongst other things. I expect to pay between £600/£800 for our pup and not a 100 quid from bloke out the back of a boozer. Puppy farming is horrible and like you say if people didnt buy dogs from some bloke they met once it would hopefully stop. So please dont place me in that group.

I simply disagree with buying animals per se. I'm sure you have given your dogs excellent homes: just as Madonna and Guy Ritchie have given their 'pedigree' babies.

Why wouldn't you adopt a German Shepherd from the organisation you have sent the link for next time, rather than buy one?

Mmmm........ German Sheps are generaly wonderful dogs but taking on a rescue one would be quite a risk in my opinion because of their idiosyncracys.
