    didn't I read somewhere that Pardew had told him he could go out on loan ?, he obviously doesn't fancy him much at present.

    Not heard he's gone anywhere.

    Perhaps Sam has been eclipsed by SuperKev's training ground and Reserve team exploits. ;-)

    again, like Kevin. He needs to drop a level, get playing competitively and try and make his way back up.

    Hopefully he won't waste as many years as kev has.

    Southend have bolstered their squad with the signing of Charlton winger Lloyd Sam.

    The 22-year-old will link up with the Championship strugglers on loan until the end of the season.

    Sam has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Charlton side this term and Alan Pardew is willing to loan him out.

    The skilful winger spent a spell on loan at Sheffield Wednesday earlier this season making four appearances for The Owls.

    Sam is expected to go straight into the squad to face Burnley on Tuesday.
