Confirmed on Posh OS. He's travelled with their team to Tenerife, subject to paperwork being completed.

  • Shame. Was hoping it would be permanent so we would not have to worry about him heading back to us in the summer. I wonder how much of his wages we will carry on stumping up whilst he is on loan there?

I can't see us letting him go without Posh stumping up at least half of his wages

I think that's right and think this deal will work well for all parties, particularly us!

Good but it'll only mean we have the same problem in the summer.

He'll score a lucky goal on his debut before struggling and they release how poor he is.

The wages issue you raise was my first thought too.

Still something is better than nothing I guess particularly as it looks like we have to pay Moo2 his full £8k a week for f*** all!

  • Good riddance to bad rubbish I say. Only disappointment is that it's not permanent.

Their OS actually says paperwork still needs to be completed. Explains why it's not on our OS yet.

Yeah, lets hope he looks good on the training pitch!
  • Best for all concerned.
  • I don't get why we have to subsidise his wages; they're in a higher league than us

Didn't someone say a while back that Mcleod's wages weren't huge. I'd say we are far keener to see the back of Moo2!

i'm sure newcastle have plenty of earners on bigger wages than quite a few premiership players .....
posh probably have a small wage structure and we signed a load of shit players on inflated wages as we fell down the leagues

Rumoured to be on his way to Leeds if beckford goes.

Regarding the wages, Peterborough were in league two, 2 seasons ago and get crowds of less than 10k, so i doubt they pay too well, Mcleod is probably their top earner!

He's probably on a small basic ....... and on a high bonus for goals he scores.

i reckon he will do alright there, score few goals then sign for them in summer then next season be utter poop

in an ideal world that is, still think he is more then capable of getting goals regularly as its just a confidence thing
