I've got to write two 4000 word essays and a dissertation, starting tomorrow, while my best mate just left to go travelling for two and a half years. I actually wish I was dead.

[cite]Posted By: Chris_from_Sidcup[/cite]So your mum is your boss yet others get preferential treatment? Have i got that right?
[cite]Posted By: Plaaayer[/cite]I with our Chris, I'm not sure I understood any of that?

yeah dont make sense does it, but its all family and friend! think others get away with it cos they can and i dont cos im always professional so i assume she doesnt expect it from me, oh well im happier now been out for lunch chilled for bit :-)

think i should change to annoyed today post here, depressed is a bit much!
  • Must be a strange working environment.

Maybe your mum gives you a harder time so she can't be seem by others to be favouring her family, but if you're all family then it's a bit odd. Why not just talk to her about it?

I am pissed off because storms have knocked the satellite dish for the bar out of kilter. So we have lost half the channels. Sky sports 1,2 and 3 are okay, but of course the footy tonight and tomorrow is on bloody ITV.

While it continues to lash down the satellite man wont come out to fix it (don't blame him to be honest), so with precious few tourists about anyway, no football on to entertain them, and any posters I put up advertising the bar washed away in seconds we are royally f***ed.

Oh yes, and all those on people on the holiday thread going to bloody Spain yet again, rather than giving us a try does not help one's mood...
