    more likely he is bored sitting at home & with very little football on decided to go to a game.........or was planning on going to watch Walsall v Norwich and had booked a hotel up there and decided to go to Coventry instead ?

    expect I doubt we can afford hotels for coaches.

    Drive back to Colchester same night I would have thought.

    As Parky said he, Kins, Breaker, Chapple and Matthew are at a game most nights.

    Don't know if it's of any interest but Elliot Ward was a player i heard we were being linked too but Southampton were set to sign him. However Saints have just signed Seaborne from Exeter so maybe we're still after Ward. It could be that Pardew is just trying to sign every player on the planet!

    If so it's not been announced yet? Unusual if he has signed as thats 3 CB's (Fonte, Seaborne and Ward) but it is Pardew i suppose.

    Yeah I don't think it means much at all.

    Didn't Parky recently say they already have ideas of targets? I'd imagine if they've already identified targets they've watched them a fair bit already. Could be just watching a game to see if they spot anyone, or maybe there are players there out of contract in the summer.

    He lives in Walsall, so if he was in a hotel his missus would have a question or two!
