Oh what a shock...goodbye Arnie old son.............you were some character and were part of the woodwork around the place for quite a while, a wicked sense of humour and I have to say I liked him.

Never met Arnie, i'm sure many on here have, but having listened over the last few years to both Curbs and Lennie speak, both highlighted what an integral part he played in their learning and development. Got the feeling he did more for the club than probably has been recognised over time

    RIP Arnie

Arnie was one of those behind the scenes guys like Charlie Hall who did more for the Club in their time than we realise as fans.

Thought of by some as a loveable rogue...obviously in his position he was bound to have made a few enemies along the way, he had to do a fair bit of dirty work for others. Part of his remit/job was to ruffle a few feathers now and again....so naturaly it was unavoidable.

  • RIP - as others said he did a lot of stuff behind the scenes and helped keep the club going in it's darkest hour.

    An unsung hero.

    RIP Arnie.
  • For a long time he was part of the back room furniture. His role in Curbs and Gritt's partnership should not be forgotten.

    RIP Arnie.

Can I be the first to propose a statue? Perhaps alongside one of Tom Enefer.
