Me, AFKA, Ketman, CAFCBourne (and dad), Carter, Friend or Defoe and Carlsberg were singing it for a while.

Shame people only like to speed to up like you're on ecstasy.

Slow ones never seem to be used at home ... everyone in a rush as if they are embarrassed to sing ... pity.

Win or lose, sink or swim
One thing is certain, we'll never give in
Side by side, hand in hand
    We all stand together

Play the game, fight the fight
But what's the point on a beautiful night
Arm in arm, hand in hand
    We all stand together

If we've ever stolen a song from Forest it's 'Yippee - I -O.' We started this away at Forest in August 1986 as it features/ed in the song that their team runs / ran out to. It's from the Robin Hood song. We all thought it was ridiculous and took the piss out of it but it then caught on. I remember this clearly as it was my second Charlton away game (after Gillingham a year or two earlier).

[cite]Posted By: see last page[/cite]Goes for petshop boys "go west" if they could claim rights everytime that tune was used they would be multi multi billionares.

No they wouldn't as they didn't write it. It was written by The Village People.

You could be right Jimmy but the mind obviously plays tricks because I could have sworn it was around a long time before that, in late 70's / early 80's.

Would this be the one that was heavily based on Pachabels Cannon in D?

That's because The Village People were around in the 70's. Go West was released in 1979.

Don't tell me that you've never visited The Village People site. Have you got no culture?
