Now lads, much better performance from us than sat! Ok we never really looked like scoring, but in terms of passion and commitment, it was back! Best bit of the game was Borat the streaker! Piss poor turnout from us,and the worst ive ever seen at an Hpool away game, but with regards how many of us where they, add another 2 to your total! Me and another got a call from a Hpool offical 2 accept 2 boardroom passes! Great crack with your legend Keith Peacock, and sat near Steve Ryder. Is he a Charlton fan? Well the train pulls into Hpool in 3 hrs time, then a shit, shave and a shower, and back into work at 1pm. The life of a Hpool fan! Our travelling distance this season is around 11 thousand miles, next up is Bristol away, 500 mile round trip, then, Norwich away, prob bout, 500 miles again, then fookin Southampton, 750! All the best for the season, but fancy a sat game for a change at your place! Up the pools!

Big thumbs up to anyone that came all the way down last night. As someone that has been to Newcastle away midweek on more than one occasion I can sympathise with you.

Oh and yes , Steve Ryder is a Charlton fan

How did you enjoy our neck of the woods? Which pubs did you get to?
  • We had a fair few pints at The Hardiman at Hays at London Bridge, then that one near the station, begins wih A? Bit scruffy? Then the chairmans suite! Enjoyed the trip, just near York now, and fookin wrecked!
  • Never great having to go into work in the afternoon when you've been travelling back.(Done it a few times over the years). Roll on this evening.
  • Nice one lads, proper football fans

Can anyone shed light on why people choose to put an 'S' after Hartlepool?

Well done for travelling so far. It's a very long way to come in the middle of the week and shows great commitment to your club.
  • Apologies for the few idiots who took the pee out of your support, I doubt you heard them though!

All the best for the season and I'm glad to hear that some of your mates met Keith Peacock, he's a top man.

Well done all of you - proper fans. Don't feel embarassed by your turn-out - we just about showed up ourselves last night. Just one of those games when everyone's flat and it seems to affect the players too. When all's said and done, we got three important points and you got your pride back after the weekend.

Say hi for me to the gaffer in your supporters club bar who welcomed us whole-heartedly earlier in the season. Good luck, especially at Norwich.

Because the area used to be known as 'The Hartlepools'. This covered the two boroughs of Hartlepool and West Hartlepool.
