Finally got around to

watching the double low lights DVD last night (mainly due to my 2 year old son refusing to sleep due to a heavy cold, so I thought I would force him back to bed via the suffering of visual agony) and three things struck me.
1) The team we started the first season in the Championship with was easily good enough to get up and now they have gone.
2) What a tit Pardew is how the hell did we offload Iwellumo? He was one of the high points in that first season, he was the only regular goal scorer out of the forwards and he was injured or out of favour a lot of the time.
3) It really was as bad as I remember.
