Do people really need to call Darren Bent, the best player we've had in years, baby Bent. I feel it makes him sound young, childlike and fragile, rather than the multi million pound international goal scorer that he is.

You are on the wind up, aint ya?
  • More importantly did anyone read in the gospel that is the Sun today, that David Nugent might get a call up to the senior squad for the Israel and Andorra games as Bent is struggling with a knee injury?

yes chris i read that. well i've just seen it in the mirror.

Is that a ploy by pards just to keep him safe? wont the england camp be pissed off if they see him play on sunday?
  • Can anyone shed any light on this? Anyone know if he's been training this week?

Sorry, normally well patriotic but England can do one as far as I am concerned at the moment. CAFC is FAR more important at the moment, if they are not interested in him when we are mid-table why would they be interested in him when we are bottom. F*** England, just think what happenend to Dean Ashton pre-season & imagine that happening to Bent to us now, it would be curtains make no mistake.

In the Guardian as well, but that says Bent will be assessed after the Newcastle game.
