Don't know if this has been mentioned before but saw this on teletext last night and an article this morning on the Beeb. If it has feel free to post links to large ships hitting icebergs etc

Didn't they try this in the MLS during the 70s?

Whats wrong with a draw? Some of the best games Ive seen have been draws..........

Load of bollox IMO. Its not April 1st is it??

    they've just mentioned this load of old twaddle on SSN, apparently on a fans survey it was mentioned.
    There's no way this'll ever happen. They tried it for 4 years in the MLS before ditching the idea

    Ideas remind me of that Budweiser add where they have Monster Trucks wrecking the pitch at half-time & added time multi ball with loads of balls being booted onto the pitch. Leave the game alone for crying out loud.

    We've been talking about this at work, and it's a load of borrocks.

    If attendances were falling in the Championship (where the idea will apparently be used) then I could understand them trying new things, but attendances are at their highest levels for years!
