Brighton - Pay on the Gate?

Evening all
I'm nipping over to the UK for a couple of weeks shortly, and planning to take in the Brighton game, along with a friend who is a Liverpool supporter, and currently in need of some deep football therapy. Here's hoping The Valley experience will somehow restore his jaded appetite.
Assuming that the game is hardly likely to be a sell-out (!) do you think we'll be able to just turn up on the night and pay at the gate?

Well, not 'at the gate'; you'll have to go to the ticket office and then proceed to the gate with your tickets.0
