I'm sick and tired of these boring weekends

My life literally revolves around Charlton. If Charlton aren't playing then I don't see my mates. Monday is 2 days away. I just split up from Mrs. Frank so what is a man to do?

  • Keep an eye out for John Terry?

Sorry to hear your news Frank.
Drinking heavily is my preferred option. Failing that watching rugby.
Or finding a busy shopping centre, sitting in the car and counting how many people ask me if I am just leaving.

    On my way to Bluewater.

Rearrange some things in the boot. Maybe fill a few plastic bags with stuff for it

You need to go to the Bristol Rovers match on Monday.
Should be fun in the pub beforehand - or bribe a mate to go with you.

It's got to be better than sitting at home on your own, with just a tinny for company.

    Better days are coming, Frank.
    Chin up!

Monday in Bristol is all I live for, and Southend of course.

The life of a hardcore Charlton supporter is very lonely.
  • Top man Frank - thats the spirit.
Go early to Waitrose deli counter and grab a few of those paper numbers - you could sell them when the queues build up.
Do lots of stuff Mrs Frank wouldnt let you do

I dont know - record your farts in pitch order to create the National anthem. Put the recording on you tube to a collection of video clips of Crytlas Police FC.

Take a renewed interest in friends Reunited

Only another 3 months - and we beat Leeds at home to clinch promotion!
    Not long now, Frank.

I won't be seeing the misses next sat because Charlton are playing at home. She lives 130 miles away so by the time i get to her house it will be late plus her parents will be back from their olidays. I don't have any mates to go out with an d i don't wanna be a saddo sitting in the pub on my own so all im doing this weekend is watching Charlton vs Yeovil - woohoo!

Had no particular plans so we went to Fulham v Notts County, £10 quid for an u21 ticket and not a bad game. Albeit a big gulf in class, Notts have one or two decent players and they were spirited and not out of the game till 20mins from end. Fulham try to play good football and Hodgson sure has an eye for a bargain and a Scandanavian. Of course the Charlton connection was there with Murphy pulling the strings in midfield but was nice to watch a game as a neutral.

Thoroughly enjoyed my Sunday by the River but roll on Monday. Even though Craven Cottage is not the best Prem gorund, would rather see us playing there than Bristol Rovers. Last time we played Fulham away it was also a Monday night game on Sky, how times have changed!
