Just how many strikers do they want? This is a sign of whats needed to get out of the Championship, firepower. They have Bendtner, McSheffrey, Campbell, Jerome and now Vine plus Forsell if he's ever fit. You need goals to get out of that league so god knows what we'll do next year.

  • the have bundles of cash, that's what happens when your owner sell's dildo's and butt plugs!
  • They also got 13m from selling Heskey and Pennant last summer. To be fair they've certainly re-invested it well in a bid to go straight back up which is exactly what we'll need to do with money for Bent next summer.

at least three of their strikers are currently injured. Once all fit they can always offload in the summer if needs be.

Rowan Vine about to sign for Brighton on loan apparently. Would love for us to be able to sign him.

I believe he has never been quite the same player after he broke his leg badly a couple of years ago.....?

Since a good spell for Luton before his big move to Brum, he has not got enough goals. Obviously the leg break has affected him greatly but maybe League 1 is more his level, guess we may see Tuesday. Interesting that Nicky Forster denied his transfer request and is available for selection on sat after a couple of games out

I've seen Vine plenty of times, and would never have wanted him at Charlton unless it was around his first loan season at Luton; when they were in the third tier. Now his wages are so far off the scale for his talent.

I've also seen Hull and they are atrocious. But having said that the way Pearson wants to play with a 4-5-1, quickly transferring to a 4-3-3 with ball could be transformed into very workable with Vine. His pace and endless running will make a system that's an utter failure, become workable especially now Koren's beaded in. If you saw that system when one-pace-in-reverse Kilbane and geriatric Solano being the quick inside midfielders cum forwards, whilst going nowhere Garcia was their 'threat' up front you'll know what I mean. Strange how Pearson, whom I highly rate, insisted on playing a formation that his players could never successfully operate.
