anyone know where I can get a list of all players from the past - and how many appearances they made

    doubt it but you could buy the yearbook (£5 in the club shop)

    Soccerbase is a useful tool, u can get squad lists apperances player data going back to the year dot, has full results and tables from when your club enterd league football. Just google it.

    The handbooks are the best way.

    Might be a few sites online (which you might have to pay to subscribe to) but I wouldn't be 100% sure that they're accurate and not sure if they'd list every single player.

    Soccerbase doesn't go that far back though, only 15 years or so I think, without checking.

    I was trying to see how many appearances one of our FA Cup winners went on to make. It's (hopefully) a surprise for my stepmum

    The Valiant 500 by Colin Cameron was produced some years back and that will at least give you(in great detail) the first 500 players to have played.
