Good for us on the whole, imagine catching one of City / SheffU only to be overtaken by West Ham! Still could do with them winning ther games against these teams.

should we buy him if we stay up and they go down...?0

Spurs or Newcastle will be in for him i reckon0

He may stay.0

Depends if someones willing to pay decent money for a bloke who's been injured for a whole year. I'd expect him to stay until the January window really as if i was a manager i'd want him to prove he could get back to his best before i paid 7m+ for him0

Charlton would never sign a player with an poor injury record ; - )0 -
Ha Ha,
Good job Wham beat us to Upson's signature - probably didn't sign - had a wrist injury at the time... :-)0 -
Dean Asthon at the age of 27 is on the verge of retiring. It would be a real shame. A player with such potential and a very good goalscoring record. My links aren't working at the moment, would be grateful if someone could post one. Thanks.

Sad if he does retire, quality player that could have played for England more than once!0

Always seemed to have a good partnership with Bent at U21 level in my opinion too. Would've been good to see that at The Valley. A real shame, and without doubt would have done a good job for England.0

I think this works. A shame to retire so early but he has been suffering for a few years now and nothing seems to have worked.0 -
