Call me psychic, but I sense that the bird in the hat is Alison Scrivener. That makes the bloke on her right Philip.

    It's a gift.

funniest thing is that the person who suggested they meet didn't bother to turn up himself.

    Well said.

Plus they are Charlton fans ... that gets them off to a good start in my book.

For anyone in the dark about what is going to happen to the club now, Acworth has released this statement:
Parkinson resigns leaving the club to look for a new manager Chris Powell given the job until end of season, semedo first to leave joining bristol city in a 1,5m deal Bailey joining west brom or middlesboro for 2m racon next to depart going to southampton or a doncaster for 1,5m.Mountakill going on a free with dickson Sam then joins Newcastle on a bosman.WIth money comming in the board will put in a fuether 7m keep club running then sell up by the end of the year to curbishley and his brother at a knocked down price. The new manager will have to bring in free transfers like teale and docherty.we b ok just have to cut down on spending, its a massive club so I suspect a lot of interest in the club

Racon to Southampton won't happen mainly because Pardew never played him when he was here!

I know I shouldn't but I just had a look for the first time in ages.

Usual nut jobs but I thought this was a classic

"The club could contact long serving season ticket holders who have stopped renewing them (such as myself), and ask them why they have stopped going. In my case this is mostly because of the unfair pricing strategy, which takes in excess of £400 from people who have supported the club for 50 years, while only asking £49 from new under 11s. The club might then come up with a fairer, cheaper way of rewarding the longer serving fans ."

This person must have real problems getting on public transport or going to the cinema where kids get cheaper prices as well.

    You couldn't make it up.

If you get a chance, have a look at Acworth's last 3 threads around the 17th/18th of this month on your views.
