Great pics, as AFKA says need to be stored somewhere.
Wasn't the Valley club shabby?0 -

Love the pic of the players and directors entrance - looks like the door to a shaddy backstreet brothel.0 -
Shouldn't these go in the "Pic's" section of the site? It's a brilliant collection, be a shame to see them die into thread wilderness. Although saying that I'm not sure how many people actually use the Pic's section.0

fantastic pics, well done. looks like early 70's from the clothes//cars. its a good job Chelsea fans burnt down the valley club soon after, it does look pokey. A lot of the pics make it look really derelict, but I guess that was the norm in the 70's as I dont remember it like that. Although it is clear that Mr G and family have been keeping their hands firmly in their pockets for some time.0

Ha, forgot to add the "... I imagine."
To be fair, the only brothel I've ever knowingly seen is Bunnys Massage Parlour (formerly 'Cuddles') on the Hagley Rd heading into Brum and that has a massive steel door, iron grills on the windows and a video entry system so the old players entrance is actually down-market looking compared to a brothel. More like a crack den perhaps.0 -
Post No 6: Lennie Lawrence, Killer and Alan Simonsen.
Post 21 is looking straight at where I used to stand in the late 70s and early 80s.
Great memories.
Thanks for this thread.0
