can anyone remember why we played on the thursday and have we played on a thursday since ?

    I think the Thursday night game with Leeds was 2-0, the legendary Steve Dowman getting both. The only reason I can think of as to why it was played on a Thursday was that maybe it was originally scheduled for a Friday; it was in the early days of live league games and some of them were on Friday nights so there may have been a clash. That was the season we were wound up, we could hardly put a team out but were still 5th at christmas.
