    presuming youre talking about the clothes designer, that has made me even more satisfied that I got my Jeff Banks suit dry cleaned and pressed this morning!

    I note from his Wiki entry that he is a convert to Nichiren Buddhism. How many other fans do we have that have converted to Nichiren Buddhism?

    Jeff Banks used to live in Blackheath in the 1960's when he was married to Sandie Shaw. Used to drive a green Bentley. Very nice bloke apparently. Well he would be if he supports Charlton.

    That would be St Austens the Catholic school.......Sherrington used to used the gym there! ( Dave Rudd may remember that)

    Jeff and Sandi lived along by the lights where it turned of for Kidbrooke, I met him once at Emap magazines , nice guy, ( he was doing a tv feature on the clothes show)

    He said he liked the view from my widow ( which overlooked the Odeon Leicester Square) 'I said I bet you say that to all the well dressed men'

    The manager of 'Jane and I' which was painted purple and gold, had a lotus Elan then a Lotus Europa in the same colours and lived at the Parragon Blackheath, next door to an outstanding young graphic designer...... me!
    She had black long hair quite a sort.... Always fancied her, but she was just a little bit older , and I was an art student at the time, with my arse hanging out of my pants!

    Nichiren Daishonin. I dabbled in it a few years ago, when I was using whatever Eastern philosophy happened to drift through my transom...

    Jeff Banks designed the uniforms that the original lottery sellers wore at Charlton. All the girls (including my Mum) had to go to his house for fittings as he couldn't get to the ground?

    I once worked in the same building as him (different company) and met him a few times. A nice guy and I recall we chatted about Charlton - I think he spotted me wearing a scarf on the way to a midweek match.

    Went to the same school as Jimmy Bullard....and Curtis Weston (Gillingham)

    Still not as good as Jim Davidson though!

    It is actually Brockley County Grammar school as was indeed on Hilly Fields.
