    I think Simek is a Right Back and with Frazer still under contract and Solly developing , I can't see it.

    Micheal Gray ? I always thought that it was destined that we might sign him one day , we need left sided options although he must be quite old now .

    Gills have released 13 including Simon Royce. This is a long shot but I reckon if Randy goes in the summer we should get Royce back as he would help Elliot with development, provide able cover and is reliable. Rather than get another younger keeper, I think we may go for an older keeper as no2.

    just seen that watford have yet to offer will hoskins a new deal and he is out of contract next month. if they release him then we should try and snap him up.

    Gary McSheffrey has been released by birmingham - he might be worth looking at if we go up.
    and maybe one to look at if we don't - Tresor Kandol has been told by leeds that he is free to leave

    McSheffrey seems to be having a lot of fitness and form problems at the moment but as you say he is definitely work looking at! Also i expect Kandol to become a Charlton player in the summer.

    personally i think Doherty is decent for League 1 if we stay down but don't rate him very highly, especially having seen him play against us when Norwich went down, he was awful.

    Next years Centre Backs - Chris Perry & Gary Doherty - could do worse if we stay in League1.

    We could do worse than Doherty and Perry but doubt we could afford them as both have surely been on Champ wages, also in terms of pace and mobility we'd get exposed a lot imho.

    we have 14 players out of contract - it's pretty much dependant on which league we're in next season to whether they get offered new ones.

    the 14 players, we think, are; Sam, Sodje, Randolph, Basey, Dailly, Burton, McKenzie, Spring, Sinclair, Dickson, Clark, Wagstaff, Solly and Stavrinou.

    i think Wagstaff, Solly, Randolph, Stavrinou and maybe Basey will get offered new deals regardless
    Spring, Dickson, Sinclair and McKenzie will be released regardless
    Sam, sodje, Dailly and Burton will be offered new deals if we go up or they are willing to accept pay cuts if we don't.

    i can also seen us letting Mcleod, Fleetwood and Moo2kill go for nominal fees, perhaps even for nothing.

    Koren released from WBA, I highly doubt we have any chance but if we get promoted- you never know!

    PNE have a few players on frees and available, Chris Sedgwick is decent whilst I think Neil Mellor is available as well on the cheap. Not a bad player with an ok goal return.

    Moots will never play for us again, especially under Parky. Could turn into a decent player but not at The Valley.
