    Seen the first goal, Sam should have kept on the winger and Borrowdale should have won the header. Both at fault.

    How about we just give the best support we can to ALL our players? Constructive criticism is fine, but frankly I'm sick of hearing vitriolic abuse being aimed at our players whoever they may be.

    I'm sorry Steve, but that's cobbblers. Don't know how long you've been going to the Valley, but I'd imagine you have at least been around to see Thomas, Ambrose and Rommedahl - 3 wingers who were all much much lazier in defence than Sam. He was trying last night but it wasn't coming off for him, although I do wish just once in a while he'd just get on and get at the full back instead of always opting to go for the twisty turny run. He was at fault for the goal, but that was because he switched off, not because he's lazy. Do you seriously believe he thought 'Nah, I can't be bothered to track that back, it'll be alright'? Of course he didn't because if he behaved like that Parky would have shipped him out ages ago, because it's that sort of selfish attitude that has seen Mcleod/Dicko etc frozen out.

    watch the goal then mate watch lloyd in the build up,dont bother about the ball just watch lloyd it is shockin. Anyway i have been goin about 2 years so dont really remember the others.

    Agree with Exiled. Plenty of times this season Sam tracked back well. He doesn't have the drive and energy that Wagstaff does but he offers more balance between attack and defence than any of Thomas, Ambrose, Rommedahl or Bouazza.

    Sam would have got the blame for giving the ball away like Racon did, just as he would have for not winning the header like Borrowdale. He made a mistake but he wasn't the only one for the first goal.

    Second goal was worse IMO, really not sure why we only had one player back. Wasn't worth the risk and I can't remember us doing that all season in the games I've seen.

    The opposite of brave, never seen a player avoid challenges like Rommedahl. Makes Sam looks brave and aggressive. A lot quicker than Sam but that's about it.

    I have and as I said in my last post, I agree it's very poor, but I believe Sam switched off and made a miistake. I don't think it was down to lazy negligence.

    truth is I dont think we are very good..... against those two, not bad strikers, we were ragged, sodje with a total lifesaver, and then the post from three yards which was as bad as Kalous miss... only deons bravery and awareness kept us in it.....

    Unless we play very differnetly on Monday we arent going up...

    its almost too much ...

    please can we have a 4-0 drubbing of Swindon........

    Sam's joint-top of our assist table with 10 this season. Along with Burton on 10. And 4 goals scored. And Burton gets constantly lauded for his creativity and hold-up play.

    Sam can't be that rubbish with that record.

    The thing that has been bothering me since last night, is how Racon could be outpaced running back for their second by a player running with the ball. That amazes me. Was like he was running on sand.

    Sorry 10 assist's in 40 odd games, is that a good return from such a great play maker? So I stand by my comment that L.Sam must look good in training.

    Better than every other player in the team though. And he's not a playmaker, he's a League 1 winger.

    So yes 10 isn't great, but it's pretty good, especially for an inconsistent player. Also shows he's perhaps not the most talented winger in the division as suggested. Under performs at times, but we shouldn't expect 20+ assists either, he's just not that good.

    Like most if not all teams, Swindon knew he was one of our main threats and didn't let him get any easy crosses in, had 2 Swindon players around him most of the time when he got the ball.

    Might I add to that, 10 assists delivering balls from the wing to strikers who aren't exactly famed for scoring a lot of goals.
