This is a bit disappointing. I know we've got a few more than originally allocated, but doesn't look like were going to shift them all.

  • Bet the club are delighted they took an extra 300!
  • i think they killed off the momentum when they posted the negative bit on the website about cant guarantee getting anymore coaches blah, blah, blah and you'd better get in quick if you want to travel on good friday because you wont be able to do so by train blah blah blah and have to get there by other means blah blah blah thereby pointing out how difficult it would be going to the match so you'd might as well not bother...that's how it read to me...

agreed, i think if we had this amount originally, they would of sold.

there will be about 200 spare seats, and i think it will actually work well because it will give a chance for those that want to get at the back and stand. think there will be a decent atmosphere.
  • Although the 200 spare seats will be at the front therefore making our support look rubbish on tv

How does the ticket allocating work then in regards to where you sit? If you buy late you get up the back cos I loved Fulham away and Watford away this year where I stood up the whole game. Would be good to do the same friday.

I think they do tend to sell them from the fron to the back (unless you specifically ask). I was relatively early getting my Fulham ticket and was about 10 rows frmo the front. Whereas I was quite late getting the Watford ticket and was about 3 rows from the back.

I got mine for Watford pretty early and I was in the second row from the back! Maybe it's just down to which pile they're working from when yours is dished out?

I think this'll work well. Just be polite and suggest that 'This is a standing section, mate. You'd be better off at the front with yer flask' :-)

I think so. For instance I got my tickets for Watford about 2hours after they went on sale yet I ended up about halfway up. If you ask nicely some members of staff in the ticket office will sift through the batch and try and get you somewhere where you want to sit/stand. However others are totally rigid and unwilling to help, which is a bit annoying. Also there is the factor that usually in most grounds row A would be down the front and then through to 'Z' and then 'AA-ZZ' would be further up, however sometimes, like Watford it's the reverse. Perhaps some people had tickets, for instance in 'Row LL' and thought they were near the back when it turned out they were only a dozen or so rows from the front?

dont worry about what seat your ticket has on it, just stick close to curb_it...at the fulham game she just marched us up to an empty row and took it over...

Why cant they sell tickets at the gate for those that decide on the day to take the trip?

It might be becasue Charlton sell the tickets till the last possible moment, therefore there is not enough time to get the tickets up their for sale on the day.

Although I know at Forest the remaining tickets went up on the team coach, then again, half the players would have done better in the stands.

Surely if you were going, you'd have decided to by now?
