Not sure if its been mentioned on here already but Curbs was at Ladies Day at Epsom (in the Queens Stand) last Friday. Mike Ashley, Joey Barton and Jimmy Bullard were also spotted (although not together!).

Took the opportunity to have a quick word with Curbs, although I should point out it was after we both had consumed a fair bit of alcohol. When I told him he was the best manager our club had ever had he bizarrely responded by asking which club I meant. I wasnt impressed with this answer telling him as I walked away shaking my head that I couldn't believe he could compare his time at West Ham with that at Charlton. On reflection, wish I'd also told him his book was rubbish.

Saw Curbs at the Oval last night, watching that 28 over game of cricket. How bad are Surrey?

His book really was dire considering everything that happened during his time at Charlton. Nice fella though and seemed to have time for the fans.
