Hope you all stay fit and healthy before the game.

I've been tipped off that I am one of the Mamagers on the day. Question : If you were in 'my' team would you want/need/require a training session before the big day ??0
-
would it be at lilishall(sp) ? ; ) yes to question, if its local.0
-
I did a full training session today, I used the stairs and totally ignored the temptation of the left.
I was pretty proud tbh.0 -
I have not been out for a run for two weeks now as Groin Strain still not completely cleared up six weeks after doing it. Race to be fit for the 22nd !0
-
Stu - That's about a good as I have got - I've been using the stairs rather than the lift, Also been walking around Canary Wharf at Lunchtime - in and out of shops (Like I need an excuse to shop!)
But other than that I don't do anything! Really need to sort myself out for my 5 minutes of fame!

Also been having a walk around the Wharf, but obviously not in the shops! Plenty of nice places to walk to up there...0 -
Been doing 5-a-side on Tuesdays (2 matches), gym on a friday night (mostly fitness work, with only a little bit of weights) and cricket training on Sundays (finished now, but season starts in 3 weeks), plus walking the dog every day (1 mile most week days and 2 miles most saturdays and sundays). Not losing any weight, but definitely getting fitter and stronger.
I felt pretty good at WorldNet last summer and I'm definitely fiiter now than I was then. But the Valley pitch is massive. Easily 20 yards wider and longer than your average sunday league pitch, and being may it could be a tad warm!
Hope plenty of water will be provided on the day!0 -

Jeez!!! You must be joking! I'd be dead by the time I got back!
;-)0 -
Yeah I am in cricket training as well, I have practiced:
Dropping catches
Half arsed longmans
Getting bowled through the gate
Sending down half trackers
I am ready for the new season.[cite]Posted By: randy_andy[/cite]Hope plenty of water will be provided on the day!
Bottles of sambuca will be dotted along the sidelines instead - aids performance.0 -

Not if the walking was from the Spinnaker to All Bar One, then to the Slug & Lettuce, then Henry Addingtons, then Cat & Canary etc....0 -

Well we've only done indoor nets so avoided the first two, but check and check on the latter0 -
I'm going to walk from South Quay to the Wetherspoons and back for lunch on Thursday - does that count?[cite]Posted By: MariaCAFC[/cite]Anyone else work in the Wharf?? We could get a "Walking" club together when the game gets closer! ;-)0 -
