Will you see two better goals in one game...?

    Fantastic Forlan goal...
  • 2 fantastic goals in this game i think the commentator is being very harsh on the keeper for forlans goal fantistic strike going one way then changing slightly in direction and pace great great goal
  • in aswer to your question i think it was the gooner shite

Two top-draw goals, but the commentator completely takes the wind out of the strike. Imagine how annoyed the producer is now that there will be this shite commentary in the goals of the tournament compilation.
  • van der vaart on now....quality player on his day

Where is the second commentator? This all seems very retro. Didn't realise how much I would miss the second commentator playing in the Andy Gray role. I missed the build up. Was there a late commentator injury?

I was thinking that, he seems awfully lonely.

I'd say that was offside as he was drawing the uruguayian player to him which was made him interfere in play. Also with van persie there, the keeper doesnt know what way the ball might swing.

I have Holland in the sweep at work but how annoying is Van Bommel. Nasty piece of work. Kicks people and rolls around like he has been shot if someone comes within about 2 yards of him. Talking of which any news on the Bailey transfer

It's not Holland, it's The Netherlands.

    Thank you!

Very bad game, they gave it away after a good first half hour. But to the final, so who cares.
Hopefully against Germany and get revenge for 1974 (or lose and get a double trauma...)

But the chant, and the scarves say Hup Holland Hup.
England fans sing rule Brittania when it is not Britain playing.

That's what I thought. Had to listen to Tyldesley wittering on for 90 minutes. He made a very strange noise when Van Bommel eventually got booked (ironically for absolutely nothing).

Liking the Netherlands and hope they win it but i think Van Bommel is pony. Gives the ball away far too much.

Fantastic night last night. Had a (spurious) meeting in Amsterdam so watched the game in one of the big squares. The whole place was ornaje with people dancing around and bands playing. By the time I staggered off to bed the streets were still packed to bursting and cars and bikes were just driving round tooting their horns. The whole city just seemed to go delightedly mental at once. Despite high levels of drunkeness, no bother at all.

    Yay for the Dutchies.
