Been working with a small family building firm in Dagenham.

Really nice people and all into their football. Finished up today they asked if I'd been at the Charlton v Daggers games in the Cup.

I said I had been to the home game but not the replay when the dad said "you will have seen Lee (the MD) play then".

Lee is Lee Goodwin who played full back in both games. Said he kicked Johnny Robinson in the first game who then didn't want to know and got booked for kicking Salako in the 2nd match.

Lovely guy and he invited me to the players lounge for the league game in October.


Anyone remember him or the game as I'm going back to see him in August.

    Worst quality of performance Ive ever seen was at Dagenham.

    Never heard away fans so excited just to get the ball somewhere near our penalty area.

    Ask them who's motorbike they borrowed to churn the pitch up before the game.

    bit of a hard nut if i remember rightly, nice skin head.If I remember rightly when they started giving it the biggun in the replay, Toddy brought them back down to size.
