    1999–2004 ÍBV 72 (37)
    2004–2006 Halmstads BK 38 (16)
    2006–2007 Hannover 96 7 (0)
    2007–2008 → Vålerenga I.F. (loan) 16 (4)
    2008– Esbjerg fB 22 (2)
    2010 → Reading (loan) 4 (0)

26 games and 2 goals in 2 seasons is a bit worrying. And 2006/7 & 2007/8 are hardly encouraging. Makes Matt Harrold prolific.

I'll be the first to admit he lost his way after suffering those injuries at Hannover but he only needs the right club to stick by him and he will deliver. He is at the best age now. But I can well understand people thinking he is not up to it looking at the last few seasons stats. Thats just common sense.

What sort of injuries were they that he sustained?

    Muscular? or skeletal?

common sense is normally in short supply on here. Well I hope he does succeed and prove to be a success at The Valley. I hope he plays at Welling next week so I can see him for myself. So agent or relative or the man himself ?

I disclosed that information to the admi when I joined and I dont think its right to shout in out here now. When or if all goes well, I will reveal it.

Did you know, that the last time Gunnar scored, he took his shirt off?
Got really angry that the ref booked him.

He was like a bare with a Thor head.

Wish him all the best, if he is indeed similar to Kevin Doyle it sounds promising and with only one senior striker on our books that is fit (McLeod is injured and maybe not wanted), this could be a gamble worth taking.

Thor playing at the Valhalley, something just sounds right about that.
  • I look forward to seeing him, and hope he proves himself and gets a contract... god knows we need someone to find the back of the net regularly, something we haven't had since Bent and look where we are now!

All the best, could be a good move for all concerned.

From watching the YouTube clips - there's a bit of Jonatan Johansson about him just hopefully a little stronger and he could be useful

Apparently the Hammers are interested. Chelsea aren't because he wouldn't be any good at Stamford Bridge.
