    think that's about right. he has scored 20+ goals now in two seasons in a row. couple of years a go he would be worth £1.5m - £2m.

    Yeah we couldnt afford that, sadly.

    I thought we could have swapped Izzy and maybe 300k max (i know we probably dont even have that spare) but 750k is way too much.

    750k is too much for a league 2 striker, that's twice what they spent on Grant Holt and i'm not sure he'd even get into their side. Lambert isn't likely to drop Martin or Holt after the season they just had.

    players lose form, get injured and in Holt's case get suspended. Good signing, can see Norwich making the play-offs.

    Bad deal by Norwich there, £750k on a striker who probably won' score many and won't get in there team.

    Do not rate Jackson as much as some do, his record outside of League 2 is actually very average. Albeit he played in a struggling side, think he may struggle to step up to Championship level and imho for the money, Norwich could have done better.

    sooooo glad he has gone to Norwich. he is just the type of striker we have signed for the past 3 seasons. never gonna be good enough and no better than our recnt crop of strikers.
