Had the privilege to shake his hand yesterday. A little bit special for someone of my generation. Former Charlton player of course.

Looking his 79 years and maybe not that well.

    did you speak to him of the goal colin powell got against palace at selhurst in the old 3rd division...i remember he said something about his shooting ability before the game, in the mists of time i cant recall if it was along the lines of dont let him shoot or he's got no left foot..i think it was the latter and he wanted his players to not let him cross/hit it with his right foot...cue sweet 25 yarder with his left...i think that was the game when it kicked off big time after the game...

    Heavy smoker and only has the one lung I believe.
