[cite]Posted By: Chunes[/cite]The signings we've made so far have far outweighed my expectations. I thought we'd have to sell all our players and bring in a team of donkeys this year. Well done the board. Quite optimistic about this year now. So long as we get ourselves a striker.
ditto, great signing....just a couple of strikers now please !

A one year contract? With the option to leave if there is no promotion? Really pleased with Reid. Shane if he isn't on a 3 year deal as he is young still.

excellent! thought he showed flashes of pure class. like parky said, with a run of games he could really do the business for us.

and glad to see mcleod off the books too.

Excellent, well done Parky on obviously limited resources. Pardew would have spent 1-2 mill
on that sort of talent.
The next 6? pure speculation on my part, but would'nt be disappointed with:
Bauza, Thorvaldsson,Fortune, Mulley, Mooney (hear the moans already:>),
and a back up keeper.

I knew that wasn't how you spelt it but you knew who I meant : - )

Interesting that Parky says the team is going away for a few days between playing Kettering and Bedford (there's a reality check for you, lads) and that he'll make decisions on the loan players after that.

Hope Thor gets another run out and chance to impress but I guess that means no signings for a week.

Can Charlton Life cope? Will depression creep back with no new signings and only a few scraps of rumours to feed on?

Be afraid, be very afraid.

I understood that to mean that, as they are playing Kettering & Bedford, they will be holed up in The Premier Inn Bedford for 4 nights.

I should imagine that means no signing of the players on trial. It doesn't mean we won't be signing players not on trial.

Eg Chilvers, Francis, Butterfield, Constable, Brodie etc.

Don't kid yourself. No signings for a week.

This board is gonna have to go cold turkey.

Stock up on the booze, pot noodles and porn and hope you can all ride it out.

Absolutly Brilliant. The signings and re-signing of players just keeps getting better. Reid was great at the end of last season and wasn't even 100% fit.

The doom mongers must be gutted.

Really looking forward to this season. Just need a good 20+ centre forward a new right back and a keeper to challenge Robbie for the No.1 shirt and the jigsaw will be almost complete.

Well done Parky and The Board for the signings so far.

You could also stick reid on the right and play jackson on the left with racon in the middle, making a diamond formation.

No posts from large and golfie, funny that. Obviously far too positive news for them to comment on. I know members of the the board read this site. Please vibe off the fans positivety with the signings these last couple of weeks and bankroll a couple of decent strikers that will get us out of this league. Good work parky too.

We even beat some Championship clubs to him as well according to Parky
Parky on Reid: "We've been working on it all summer, and it's an important signing. He also had offers from Championship clubs." (MW) #cafc

great signing for CAFC. This guy can hopefully bag 10-15 goals this campaign if he stays healthy. He will help with the scoring with Bailey and Burton gone. So Reid can score, who else can on this team ???

As the Partridge once said: "Kiss my face!"

I've been chuffed with the signings/re-signings so far, but this is the icing on the cake!

Still some work to be done, across the squad, but well done Phil, & the board! & of course, welcome back Kyle!

When we win promotion.................................................
